Whilst I Wait

Dramatic sky over old lonely tree.

Expired and lazy hands
become more supple,
fixed in a sinewy shade….

umbra-earth drones
fondles my darkling

Hand with autumn tree made in the double exposure technique.

  1. Only because you recognized my crest and slump, it left. Thanks for the reply and I hope all is well in your ballpark.

  2. I’m always delighted to see a new post. Thanks.
P.S. I think I’m riding the crest of a slump. Write me a poem to bring me back.

    • Thanks for reading my posts, Sonja, as always. As for your slump, I’m so sorry and wish the best. I’ll think about it. But I’m so slow at generating poetry, I’m afraid you’ll be feeling up again long before I’m finished. 😉
